Terms & Conditions

In order to participate in the activities of ICSSA 2026, at least one author of each paper must register for the conference. Payments of conference registration fees must be made by 20th August 2026, otherwise, your paper will not be included in the proceedings.

The conference registration fee (Normal/Early Bird) includes a copy of the conference proceedings (in a USB Drive or equivalent); admission to all tutorials, technical sessions, morning and afternoon tea/coffee breaks, and lunches.

Authors who make their payment before 20th July 2026 will benefit from the Early Bird Registration rate.

IEEE members will receive a discount on the ICSSA 2026 registration fee. Members are required to indicate their IEEE membership number during registration (please update your EDAS profile) and to email their current IEEE membership card to the ICSSA 2026 Finance Chair (icssa.utm@gmail.com) upon completion of the payment.

Participants are eligible for the student rate if he/she is a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student. Students must email the scanned copy of their Student Identification Card and/or IEEE Membership Card to icssa.utm@gmail.com.

Participants must bring along their Student Identification Card and/or IEEE Membership Card to the conference for verification. Only one (1) paper per person per registration is allowed under this rate. An IEEE graduate student member also qualifies for the student member rate.

Registration fees are payable in United States Dollars (USD) using credit cards via the EDAS ICSSA 2026 registration website.

Payments in Ringgit Malaysia may be made via wire transfer, interbank giro (IBG), instant transfer, or cheque/bank draft. Further details on the applicable payment methods and bank account particulars will be communicated accordingly.

Notes for payment made via wire transfer and IBG:
Please email to icssa.utm@gmail.com the following:
- Proof of payment/transaction
- Current IEEE membership card (if applicable)
Failure to do so may result in a delay in confirmation of registration.

Applications from institutions or companies for tax invoices to facilitate payments in Ringgit Malaysia equivalent through interbank transfer or local bank draft/cheque are to be emailed to the ICSSA 2026 Finance Chair (icssa.utm@gmail.com) with details as shown below. Local orders are not acceptable.

  • Type of registration required (e.g., IEEE Member normal registration @ amount) – Please note that Early Bird registration rate is not applicable for payment made by Invoice and Local Order.
  • Name of person/institution/company to whom the invoice is to be issued
  • Address
  • Contact person and contact telephone number/email address
  • Name(s) of participant(s) with respective IEEE membership category and number (if applicable)
  • Paper ID Number (from EDAS) or Title of accepted paper (if applicable)

Upon receipt of the above information, we will issue a tax invoice and email it to the contact person.

Please take note that IEEE has a strict policy on “NO-SHOW”. The IEEE has implemented policies to exclude authors who do not present their papers from further distribution of their publication, such as exclusion from IEEE Xplore. Therefore, one of the authors or their representatives MUST present the paper at the event.

Papers that have a >30% similarity index will also be excluded in the final proceeding.
