Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Wahidah Binti Hashim
Head of the Department of Computing, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN)
Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Wahidah Hashim is the Head of the Department of Computing and a Principal Lecturer at the College of Computing and Informatics, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia. She obtained her PhD in Telecommunication Engineering from King’s College London, United Kingdom.
Her research interests include wireless communications, Internet of Things (IoT), intelligent systems, environmental sensing, unmanned aerial systems (UAS), and machine learning applications. Her work focuses on developing technology-driven solutions for smart and sustainable environments, with applications in energy, biodiversity, and community resilience.
Dr. Wahidah has led and participated in numerous research projects funded by national and international agencies, including the U.S. Embassy Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund, the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia, MOSTI, and Tenaga Nasional Berhad. She is also a recipient of the Fulbright US-ASEAN Visiting Scholar Award and the Newton-Ungku Omar Fund Leaders in Innovation Fellowships.
Mr. Azlan Ahmad
Chief Digital & Information Officer, Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB)
Mr. Azlan Ahmad leads the company’s nationwide IT strategy and operations, spanning throughout the IT value chain, which include IT infrastructure, application, telecommunication network and cybersecurity. He is responsible for deploying holistic, secure and sustainable technology solutions across TNB, as well as driving the corporate digitalisation agenda. He holds a BSc. in Computation (Hons) from the University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology (UMIST), United Kingdom, and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Malaysia. Azlan Ahmad is also the Board of Directors for TNB-IT Sdn. Bhd. and Allo Technology Sdn. Bhd., both wholly owned subsidiaries of TNB.
Dr. Zulaikha Kadim
Group Chief Technology Officer, MIMOS Berhad
Dr. Zulaikha Kadim is the Group Chief Technology Officer of MIMOS Berhad, with expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision, and Deep Learning. She holds a PhD from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and has more than 17 years of experience in research, technology development, and innovation.
Throughout her career, she has led and contributed to national R&D initiatives in AI, intelligent analytics, and digital technologies. She is named as an inventor on more than 30 patents and patent applications and has published extensively in international journals and conferences.
Dr. Zulaikha actively contributes to Malaysia’s AI ecosystem through participation in national technical committees, academic advisory boards, and industry-academia collaborations.
Mr. Farul Mohd Ghazali
Chief Technology Officer, Aras Integrasi Sdn. Bhd.
Mr. Farul Mohd Ghazali is the Chief Technology Officer of Aras Integrasi Sdn. Bhd., where he drives the company’s technology vision and innovation agenda in sovereign AI, digital infrastructure, and scalable solutions that address real-world challenges across public and private sectors.
He has been instrumental in architecting and delivering mission-critical platforms supporting national and enterprise-level initiatives, including cloud and AI solutions that have positively impacted hundreds of thousands of users over the past several years.
At Aras Integrasi, he leads the development and deployment of sovereign AI solutions tailored to Malaysia’s regulatory and operational context. He also champions responsible AI adoption, governance, ethical deployment, and sovereign digital capabilities to build trust, security, and long-term resilience.
