ICSSA 2026

The Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), in collaboration with Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), MIMOS Berhad, and IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society Malaysia Chapter (IEEE-IMS) is pleased to announce the 6th International Conference on Smart Sensors and Applications (ICSSA 2026). The conference will be held on 22–23 September 2026 at Pulse Grande Hotel, Putrajaya, Malaysia, bringing together researchers, practitioners, and postgraduate students to exchange ideas and showcase impactful advances in smart sensors and their real-world applications. ICSSA 2026 will be implemented in a hybrid format, with physical sessions conducted in Putrajaya and online presentation options made available for international participants who are unable to attend in person.

With the theme “Driving Innovation Beyond Boundaries for Tomorrow’s World,” ICSSA 2026 encourages contributions that bridge disciplines and bring sensing technologies closer to impactful deployment whether in connected environments, intelligent systems, sustainable infrastructure, healthcare, next-generation networks, or emerging industrial applications. Beyond technical exchange, ICSSA 2026 is designed to strengthen professional networks and foster meaningful collaborations across academia, industry, and the public sector.

We warmly invite researchers and practitioners to submit original technical papers showcasing novel ideas, experimental results, and application breakthroughs. All accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and will be considered for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library (indexed in Web of Science and Scopus). Previous ICSSA papers were listed in IEEE Xplore (indexed in Web of Science and Scopus).

Announcement

• The deadline for early bird registration has been extended to 31st July 2026.
• Special Registration Benefit: For every five (5) paid paper registrations, the author will be entitled to one invited speaker slot and a registration fee waiver for the sixth paper, subject to confirmation by the organiser.
• Best Paper Awards: ICSSA 2026 will present five (5) Best Paper Awards to recognise outstanding papers with strong technical contribution, originality, and potential impact.
