ICSSA 2026

The Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), in collaboration with Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) and IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society Malaysia Chapter (IEEE-IMS) is pleased to announce the 6th International Conference on Smart Sensors and Applications (ICSSA 2026). The conference will be held on 22–23 September 2026 at Putrajaya, Malaysia, bringing together researchers, practitioners, and postgraduate students to exchange ideas and showcase impactful advances in smart sensors and their real-world applications.

With the theme “Driving Innovation Beyond Boundaries for Tomorrow’s World,” ICSSA 2026 encourages contributions that bridge disciplines and bring sensing technologies closer to impactful deployment whether in connected environments, intelligent systems, sustainable infrastructure, healthcare, next-generation networks, or emerging industrial applications. Beyond technical exchange, ICSSA 2026 is designed to strengthen professional networks and foster meaningful collaborations across academia, industry, and the public sector.

We warmly invite researchers and practitioners to submit original technical papers showcasing novel ideas, experimental results, and application breakthroughs. All accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and will be considered for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library (indexed in Web of Science and Scopus). Previous ICSSA papers were listed in IEEE Xplore (indexed in Web of Science and Scopus).
