Poster Competition Guidelines
- Participants must produce their own project/research poster according to the provided template. Template link: Click here
- The theme of the project/research must follow UTM’s branding guidelines, including UTM logo and tagline, as well as the ICON-AI 2025 logo. Branding & Logo link: Click here
- The poster/research size is bunting (2 feet x 6 feet) and only 1 page.
- The project/research poster orientation must be portrait (Widht: 61 cm and Height: 183 cm), with the file size not exceeding 24MB.
- The main contents of the research poster must include:
- Title / Background of Problem / Problem Statement / Research Aims / Research Objectives
What problem/goal does the research address? Why is it important? Why are current solutions insufficient? - Methodology
What approaches are used? Why were they chosen? - Results / Expected Results
Experimental results, graphs, tables, prototype, or method description. - Significance of Research
Impact on field of study or community. - Conclusions
Memorable conclusion, future prospects, ideas elaboration.
- Title / Background of Problem / Problem Statement / Research Aims / Research Objectives
- The content of the project/research poster must be in English.
- Relevant images/diagrams/figures must be included.
- The researcher’s photo and details must be located at the bottom of the poster.
- Short-listed participants will be announced that their posters have been selected for competition at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur campus.
- Short-listed participants are responsible for printing their own bunting.
- All posters must follow the prescribed template and size specifications, and a fee of RM100 will be charged per entry (upon shortlisted).
- The project poster file must be submitted online by 20th October 2025 in PDF format.
Announcement of acceptance will be made by 30th October 2025.
