Biography:
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nor Zairah Ab. Rahim is an academic, researcher, and professional learning facilitator with over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, training, and consultation. She is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Dr. Zairah’s research interests include technology adoption, social informatics, and qualitative research methodologies.
Passionate about bridging AI advancements with real-world applications, Dr. Zairah empowers learners and professionals with practical AI knowledge and skills. She has conducted interactive, hands-on training focused on AI for education, research, and industry, ensuring AI tools are accessible and impactful. She also serves as Deputy President of the Malaysian Association for Information Systems (MyAIS) and holds multiple certifications, including Certified Professional Technologist (MBOT) and Certified Professional Learning Facilitator (PLF).

Workshop Synopsis:
In today’s rapidly evolving academic landscape, artificial intelligence (AI) has become an invaluable asset in enhancing the quality and efficiency of scholarly writing. This workshop is meticulously designed for postgraduate students and academics aiming to integrate state-of-the-art AI tools into their research writing process. Participants will delve into AI-powered research assistants that facilitate efficient literature discovery and synthesis. The workshop will also cover advanced writing and editing platforms offering real-time grammar, style suggestions, and paraphrasing capabilities to ensure manuscripts meet the highest academic standards.
