Participants may submit their entries under the following categories:

Science & Technology (Research)

Research in science, engineering, artificial intelligence, computing, health sciences, environmental science, and other STEM-related fields.

Social Science (Research)

Research in education, business and management, economics, psychology, communication, humanities, public administration, and related disciplines.

Project Showcase

Innovative projects, prototypes, software applications, AI solutions, product development, educational innovations, community-based projects, and industry-driven solutions.

*The examples listed above are not exhaustive. Research or projects from other relevant disciplines are also welcome, subject to the Organising Committee's approval.

ICON-AI 2026 Research & Project Showcase

Participants must produce their own project/research poster according to the official ICON-AI 2026 poster template.

Page Limit: ONE (1) Page Only
Maximum File Size: 24 MB
Branding Compliance: Must include UTM Logo, UTM Tagline & ICON-AI 2026 Logo

Main Contents Requirement:

The poster must be prepared in English and include the following sections:

  • Title
  • Background / Problem Statement
  • Research Aims & Objectives
  • Methodology
  • Results / Expected Results
  • Significance of the Research / Project
  • Conclusion
  • Future Work (if applicable)
  • Researcher's photograph, name, affiliation, and contact information (placed at the bottom section)

Key Questions Your Poster Must Address:

  • What problem or objective does the research/project address?
  • Why is the problem important?
  • Why are existing solutions insufficient?
  • What methodology or approach is used, and why?
  • What are the key findings, expected outcomes, prototype, or solution?
  • What is the significance or potential impact of the work?
Important Notes:
  • Relevant figures, diagrams, photographs, charts, graphs, tables, or illustrations should be included to enhance presentation quality.
  • Participants are responsible for printing their own bunting for display during the exhibition.
  • All submitted posters must strictly follow the prescribed template and size specifications. Non-compliant submissions may be rejected.

Participants are required to complete registration, upload proof of payment, and submit their posters via the link below:

  • Payment must be made at the time of registration.
  • Registration fee is charged per entry and is non-refundable.
